File-based Workflow

The steady increase in computing performance and storage capacity is fueling the drive toward a file-based workflow.  This non-linear approach maximizes resources and saves time.
Motion Picture Film Scanning System
 No need to scan and rescan film.  The entire film can be scanned in a single pass and saved as high-resolution DPX files.  The Director can also simultaneously produce QuickTime files for use in preparing Digital Dailies and resulting EDLs.  The Finishing process can commence while scanning proceeds, significantly shortening the time from ingest to output.
